Mouse, Turtle & Ladybugs
Original ACEO printing
2½”X3½” – official aceo size
Watercolor, colored pencil & acrylic
Arches 140lb hot press watercolor paper
Finished with acrylic varnish

Sold - Thank you

Wearing her best ruffle collar, Molly Mouse takes her pet ladybugs with her, as she hitches a ride on the back of Timmy Turtle.  Because she doesn’t really know where she is going or why, speed doesn’t really matter so Molly figures that she might as well have fun with her friends and enjoy the journey.

"Staying in the Moment"

“Staying in the Moment”
Original small format painting
4”X6” acrylic & colored pencil
On gesso treated card stock
July 2011

.....best to stay on the line
between past and present
delicately balanced in the moment.....

This small format painting began as a little sketch that I made on a piece of 90lb card stock. I thought if I liked the sketch I could transfer it to a piece of watercolor paper or a panel, however I decided that I liked it just the way it was and I didn’t want to risk changing it, so I finished  it with acrylic paint and colored pencil, treated the back of the card stock with a few coats of gesso and varnished it with a few coats of matt and semi-gloss acrylic varnish.  It will come with the media information on the back, signed and dated.

"Rose White"

"Rose White"
Original Portrait Painting
Watercolor, acrylic & colored pencil
On 12X16 Arches 140lb hot press watercolor paper
Finished with acrylic varnish
June-July 2011
SOLD - (commission)

This is the finished portrait commission that I have been working on. I like the way it turned out, especially the contrast between the soft white roses of her dress, the real rose in her hand and the hard stone of the brick in the background. I haven't done a large commission for a while and I had a lot of fun with this one. Thank so much.

"Blue Polka-Dot Mouse Tie"

“Blue Polka-dot Mouse Tie”
Original Small Format Art
Artist’s Oil Paint
6”X6” gesso treated hardboard panel
Finished with a light coat of artist oil re-touch varnish
June 2011
Sold - Thank you

Freddy received a new tie for his birthday.
It’s such a nice silk tie too in a blue color to match the sky.
Plus it has lovely white polka-dots all over it.
It is just what he always wanted.

I used oil paint on a gesso treated 6”X6”hardboard panel.
It has a light coat of artist oil re-touch applied as a finish.

I have been working on a commission these past two weeks.
I’m almost finished and will post the results here when it is completed.
Thank you so much for your interest in my art.
